Changing Times and Thriving Together

Changing Times
In 1964 Bob Dylan wrote and released a song that he sang 633 times. It was a song deliberately created for an anthem for time that was moving on. Since its creation, many different artists performed the song including Josephine Baker, Simon & Garfunkel, Bruce Springsteen, and Brandi Carlile to name only a few. The Song is called, “The Times They Are A-Changing”. As mentioned Sunday by DeJuana Jernigan, the only thing that is constant is change, and “we can rely on the fact that things will change and change again”.

In a world of rapid change, adaptation is not just a necessity but a cornerstone of thriving together. Embracing change fosters resilience and innovation, enabling communities and businesses to evolve in sync with shifting landscapes. Collaboration becomes crucial as diverse perspectives converge to solve complex challenges, creating inclusive environments where everyone can contribute meaningfully. By embracing diversity and leveraging technological advancements, societies can harness collective strengths to address global issues such as climate change, inequality, and healthcare. Empowering individuals through education and access to resources ensures no one is left behind, fostering a sustainable future where change is embraced as an opportunity rather than a threat. Together, we navigate change, ensuring a brighter tomorrow for generations to come.

In all the levels of environment in which we live, work and play, may we find our balance, resilience and focus, and adaptability now and in the changing times again. Join us Sunday for another nugget of wisdom in “Thriving Together”.

Blessings,
