| On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand A song from my youth talks about going “To the Rock of My Foundation.”It goes on to say, “I go to the stone that the builders rejected. I run to the mountains and the mountains, they hide me. When the earth all around me is sinking sand, on Christ the Solid Rock I stand. When I need a shelter, when I need a friend, I go to the Rock.” This song comes to my spirit when I need it most. Sometimes I know why, and there are times when I don’t. But I rest assured that God will keep me and guide me, no matter what. It’s that simple. “This is my story, this is my song.” What is your story? What is your song? Are you “praising your Savior all the day long”? Stay encouraged, my friends, and let’s watch God work a miracle in and through us. Amen? Amen! |
