This coming Sunday we are blessed to welcome Rev. Milton E. Evans to our pulpit. Rev. Evans serves on the ministerial staff at Cornerstone Community of Faith Church here in Houston. He received his call to ministry in 1997, received his training at the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University and was ordained in 2002. He has been serving continuously since.
Rev. Evans brings a passion for people, particularly empowering people spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially as they continue to work to be agents of God’s transformational power. You will not want to miss the message God has placed on his heart!
Don’t forget our annual Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, October 7 from 10:30 to 11:30 am as we honor St. Francis and give thanks for how much these precious beings add to our life.
Also, as a survivor of breast cancer and during this Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I want to encourage you to schedule your annual exam. It saved my life, and it could save yours, too!
