| Restore and Reflect 🙌 |
| Now that Pride Month is a wrap, we can look back at what we accomplished together and remind ourselves that we are most resilient when no one stands alone in the fight for justice and equality. We now turn our attention to restoring our inner peace and reflecting on how vibrant and beautiful we are as a community, especially when we work together to claim lasting freedom. Let us plan to celebrate Pride every day throughout the year so that we hold onto the joys we experienced together during Pride Month. For the next two months, our Sunday messages will center on the theme, “Thriving Together.” We will explore how to make possible the idea that everyone can thrive and find purpose and meaning in life. We will share stories about overcoming adversity and finding joy in living without fear. Our hope is to envision a future where struggling and suffering are no longer the norm. At Resurrection MCC, we are a community who cares deeply about where we live and worship. By creating a loving and supportive spiritual community, people will come to know God’s love in a way that allows us to thrive and live wholly. Watch last weeks sermon “Amazing Grace” HERE. |
