Resurrection MCC Pastoral Search
The Pastoral Search Committee shared that they are on target for their timeline to find the ideal match to begin at Resurrection by February of 2024.
On Sunday, August 6, the RMCC Board of Directors announced that they have contracted with Rev. Elder Dr. Candace Shultis to shepherd us as a “gap” pastor for the next six months. Pastor Candace, as she prefers to be called, will begin on September 10th. I am so grateful that our denominational leaders Rev. Cathy Alexander and Rev. Dexter Brecht identified such a wonderful pastor to walk with us and prepare us for what and who is next! You can find out more about Pastor Candace HERE.
We began my last sermon series Soul Journey with you last Sunday. If you missed it, you can catch up HERE. Also, this Wednesday begins my last Bible Study, Love Wins: In the Beginning. We will look at the sources that came together to create the Pentateuch—the first five books of the Bible. You can register for the study HERE.
