Invitation to Apply
Dear [insert name],
So that we can better know you and your qualifications for Senior Pastor, please provide the following:
- Your Statement of Faith. Please attach additional pages as necessary.
- Your résumé, which includes three to five professional and personal references, preferably from lay persons and those you have supervised. Please:
- A link to (or a DVD containing) recent sermons, as well as the church bulletins from those services(if available)
- The date you are available to begin working at Resurrection MCC:
- Your expected salary package
- The typewritten description outlined below. Please attach additional pages.
- Your signed Background Check Consent Form.
- Your completed Pastoral Attributes Assessment.
- Proof of citizenship or legal status. Please attach images as necessary.
So that we can know more about the gifts, skills, and experience you offer in relation to our Pastor Profile, we ask that you provide us a typewritten description addressing the following points in five or fewer pages:
- Your overall leadership style, which should include your experience with team building, leadership development, strategic planning, financial management, change management, and conflict resolution.
- Your preferred worship styles, and the worship style that most challenges you.
- Your understanding of the difference between diversity and inclusion, and how you will embrace diversity and inclusivity in worship
- Any of your qualifications, gifts, and personal attributes germane to this position that might not appear in your résumé.
- Any other information about you that you would you like us to know as we consider your application.
