| Resurrection MCC Continues the Journey |
| This is my last opportunity to communicate with you through the Mobilizer, although I’ll be with you in worship this coming Sunday, March 3rd. I do have a few last thoughts to share with you. First, you are wonderful! And don’t you ever forget it! I know you may have disagreements every now and then and you might get on one another’s last nerves once and a while, but you are a terrific congregation. You are dedicated to Resurrection, to one another, and most of all to God. When God finally reveals who your next Senior Pastor is going to be, that person will find an amazing, loving, talented, faithful congregation to work alongside. Second, you have dedicated leadership in your staff and Board. Love on them! They are going to be taking on a lot of additional responsibilities during these next few months. They are up to the task. But they need to be upheld in prayer daily. Please do the same for your Pastoral Search Team. They continue to work extremely hard to find the right person to lead you into your next chapter of ministry. Finally, I am going to miss you! These last six months have been wonderful for me. I have so enjoyed getting to know so many of you. I will hold you in my heart as I return to my home in St. Petersburg, Florida. And I will continue to pray for you, and I look forward to hearing how your journey continues over the next few years. May God continue to bless you, |
