| We are the church of the Resurrection | Be Confident. Be Encouraged. When I think of Resurrection MCC’s role in the world, I am moved to tears of joy for the many lives we have impacted and the way we have been present for the needs of our people. Our work continues as we journey through our season of change. Be confident! Be encouraged! This is the hope I hear in the song “This Is Me”, by Keala Settle and The Greatest Showman ensemble, that says, “…but I won’t let them break me down to dust. I know that there’s a place for us, for we are glorious!” No matter what comes our way, we stand strong in our love for one another. Lent is a time for us to draw closer to each other and closer to the sacred, remembering who we are and whose we are. God’s love for us is unshakeable.
